Summary: Six international seminars of the 27th São Paulo Biennial in 2006 are documented in this publication, under the partnership between the 27th São Paulo Biennial and Fórum Permanente. The seminars are organised with different themes responding to the biennial's title: 'How to Live Together'. The discussions are recorded and reported by multiple contributors, with an aim of providing more critical insights than descriptive testimonies of the debates.
Fórum Permanente (Permanent Forum: Art Museums between the Public and Private Realms) is a cultural mediation platform 'that promoted experimental artistic practices, new forms of exhibitions, communication and dissemination, as well as the critical revision of traditional museological methodologies.' (p.4)
